Critical Issues in Teacher Education [CITE]

Critical Issues in Teacher Education is a blind peer reviewed journal that is published at least once a year. Articles may be submitted by IATE members and non-members alike to the Journal Chair. CITE is mailed to all IATE members as a member benefit. For more information, click here. 

Illinois ATE Newsletter

The IATE Newsletter is printed three times a year. Articles may be submitted by IATE members directly to the Newsletter editor. The newsletter is mailed to all IATE members as a member benefit.

New Member Handbook

The New Member Handbook is provided as a member benefit to those persons who are beginning their membership in Illinois ATE. It contains information about the organization, programs, publications, and governance.

Continuing Professional Development Units [CPDU]

The Illinois ATE is an approved provider of CPDU credits for certificate renewal in Illinois. Conference presentations and attendance are a source of CPDUs for teachers in Illinois.

Making a presentation at a conference -- 8 CPDU for first presentation. Evidence -- Program with presentation marked.

Attending and participating in a conference -- 1 CPDU per hour. Evidence -- Form 4B and program with attendance marked.
